Son of a Pitch Football Foundation Inc. – A Movement, Not Just a Mission
At the Son of a Pitch Football Foundation Inc., we believe that talent should never be held back by a price tag. Soccer has always been the world’s game, but in today’s system, too many young athletes are left on the sidelines because of Pay-to-Play. We’re here to change that.
Our mission is simple: open the doors of opportunity to every aspiring footballer, regardless of race, gender, or financial status. Through scholarships, free programs, elite-level training, and community-driven events, we are building a movement that makes the beautiful game accessible to all. Whether you're a young child taking your first touch or a seasoned teen chasing a dream of college or professional soccer, we’re here to fuel your journey.
But access is just one part of the battle. The youth game today is plagued by high costs, limited pathways, and a system that too often values profit over player development. Staten Island was once a powerhouse for producing top talent—we’re here to make sure it thrives again. Through education, mentorship, and a relentless commitment to developing not just great players, but great people, we will restore what this game is meant to be.

Free Player Events
We host free events that give every player on Staten Island the chance to enjoy the game and be part of something bigger. From open-play opportunities to the High School All-Star Game, we create platforms for all players to shine and celebrate the best our community has to offer.
Community Outreach
Your support brings soccer to all corners of Staten Island—including teaching the game to players with disabilities and building bridges between families, schools, and local organizations. Together, we’re growing a stronger, more inclusive soccer community.
